A Blackburn mosque is appealing for information following a burglary where computer equipment and other items were allegedly stolen.
The incident happened in the early hours of Friday morning at Masjid E Tauheedul Islam Mosque on Bicknell Street.
Video footage showed a man in the mosque for up to 50 minutes, after the daily morning prayers. Some mosque property was taken from the madressa office, the mosque said.
A message attributed to the mosque said: “Do you recognise this man? Please contact Bicknell St mosque if you do. He entered at 6:10am and fled at 7am.
"Please check your CCTV cameras or ring doorbells and get in touch with the masjid office if you have any information.
"You can also call the police directly on 101 to provide any information.”
Police were called and are said to be investigating.
