Emergency services were called out to a crash in Whitworth in the early hours of this morning.
The crash happened on Market Street, the main road through the town, shortly after midnight (August 2).
Lancashire Constabulary and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service both attended the scene.
Police said it was a damage-only crash though the car had been reported as stolen.
They were called at around 12.15am.
The fire service said one fire engine from Bacup and a crew from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service made the scene safe before handing the incident over to the police.
Pictures from the scene shared with the Lancashire Telegraph showed a silver car in the front garden of a house with the bonnet up, the front passenger-side wheel bent, and a tree damaged.
