A man involved in an aggravated burglary in Lancashire earlier this year has been jailed.
Three men smashed the patio window of a couple in their 60s while they sat inside watching TV at around midnight on February 8.
The men, two armed with crowbars and the other with a baseball bat, began ransacking the property in the Pennylands area of Skelmersdale, while also stealing a safe which contained cash, sentimental keepsakes, and paperwork.
An investigation by the South Burglary Team led to Cameron Breslin being arrested at his home in Leigh, Greater Manchester, on March 26.
Breslin, 29, of Mirian Grove, appeared at Burnley Crown Court on Tuesday (July 30).
He pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary in a dwelling house and was sentenced to seven years and seven months in prison.
