Nelson will be hosting a free beer and gin festival this summer, with 15 different beers on offer to sample across three days.
The town's cricket club, based in Surrey Road, will be hosting the event between Friday, August 9, and Sunday 11 offering free entry and a great selection of drinks.
Popular breweries, including Manchester’s Marble Brewery, Unbound of Colne and Roosters of Harrogate, will have drinks available to try.
Music will be performed throughout the day, with artists including Dan Fielden, Leeann Innes and The Switch, with more acts still to be confirmed.
DJs will also be on till late on Friday and Saturday and live cricket matches will be taking place on each evening of the festival.
Food will also be on offer with organisers partnering with Williams Bar pizza van and Some Delish will be available for all punters.
Families will also be well catered for with a bouncy castle, face painting and ice cream van amongst many more activities on offer.
Ian Bythell, from Nelson Cricket Club, said: “We can’t wait to welcome everyone to our brilliant facilities here, for a weekend full of live music, sport, entertainment and the stars of the show – our fantastic range of beers and gin.
“There are also going to be attractions to keep our younger guests entertained, so if you’re a beer enthusiast, a gin lover or just looking for a great day out, we have something for everyone.”
The festival’s bar will be open from 3pm on the Friday, and from noon on Saturday and Sunday until late.
