Two fire engines were called to a house fire in Blackburn today (July 29).
Two fire engines from Blackburn and Hyndburn were called at around 3.45pm. Crews used a variety of equipment and apparatus to put the fire out.
Crews were in attendance for one hour.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 3.44pm, on July 29, two fire engines from Blackburn and Hyndburn attended a domestic building fire on Revidge Road, Blackburn.
“Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one dry powder extinguisher and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for one hour.”
