Police have released an image of a man they want to speak with, after a person reportedly defecated on the floor of a bus station.

On July 23, at around 6am, a person attempted to enter the toilets at Accrington Bus Station, Lancashire Police said.

According to police, the person did not succeed and reportedly opted to defecate on the bus station floor instead.

Police have now released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection to their investigation.

The man in the image is a white male, of heavy build, with a beard, and was wearing a low-cut black top with a white graphic on the front, a green jacket, plus shorts and walking boots, and had a cap on.

The man was also wearing a necklace, and police want to speak to him as part of their enquiries.

A police spokesperson said “Could you help to identify this male? 

“On Tuesday,  July 23, at approximately 6.25am, [a person] entered Accrington Bus Station, situated on King Street. 

“[A person] made an attempt to enter toilets, didn't succeed and defecated on the bus station floor.

 “If you know this offender, could you send information via email 7037@lancashire.police.uk.”
