A hilarious clip has been released on social media of Snoop Dogg receiving an up-to-date Burnley FC football shirt from one of the club's most famous fans.

The rapper has been known to don football shirts from a huge array of clubs both in public and during performances.

Previously he has been spotted wearing shirts for Burnley, Liverpool, and Norwich City amongst others.

In an interview with Capital Radio presenter and Burnley fan Jordan North, Snoop was gifted the latest Clarets top following its recent release.

Snoop said: “I know that I am very particular about those jerseys that I wear and I know not to wear them in enemy territory. I didn’t know that in the beginning.

“When I first started coming out here, I think I wore a Manchester United shirt somewhere I shouldn’t have been and they were like ‘what the f**k are you doing?!’.

“I thought I was representing!”

When handed the shirt, he said the colour scheme was “fly” before having to be warned 'not to wear it in Blackburn.'

Printed on the back of the shirt was ‘Brad and Sophie 26/07/24’ which Jordan explained was for his brother and fiancé who got married on that date.

Finishing the clip, Snoop congratulated the couple, saying: “Congratulations Brad and Sophie, hopefully y’all are going to have a couple of babies. Name one of them Snoop Dogg!”

It's not the first Burnley FC shirt Snoop, 52, has received

In 2016, he was gifted a shirt by Burnley-based AMS Neve, whose Genesys recording desk was fitted in his Los Angeles recording studio, at its opening.

At the time, Snoop, real name Calvin Broadus Jr, said the shirt was "dope" after being presented it by marketing officer Elizabeth Wilkinson.
