A couple are seeking approval for the proposed change of use of a farm building to a two-bedroom house.
Mr and Mrs Bennett of Preston Road, Ribchester, had a previous application for the same building refused in December.
At the time, Ribble Valley Council said the location and the siting of the building would make it impractical for it to be changed from agricultural use and the design went against the agricultural style of the area.

It also said the plans had limited information on whether the proposed works would meet the requirement that the building is capable of being converted.
Mr and Mrs Bennett have addressed these issues in their new submission, saying the conversion will not require any structural work on the foundations or steel frame, adding they are satisfied work can take place without significant rebuilding.
They also said the wall and roof cladding will be replaced and the materials are consistent with the existing building and the agricultural style of other local buildings.

The statement added: “Accordingly, the application satisfies legislative criteria relevant to determine this application and it should therefore be determined that prior approval is given.”
The proposed house will have two bedrooms, a large open plan room with a kitchen, dining room and lounge, an office/study, a bathroom, and a cloakroom.
