A 77-year-old motorcyclist has died following a crash in Samlesbury.
The crash between a Yamaha SXR900 and a Volkswagen Golf on the junction at Cuerdale Lane and Vicarage Lane, happened on Friday 19 July.
Police said they were made of the unreported crash off the A59, by Lancashire Coroners on Wednesday this week.
Sgt Thomas Malley, said: “Very sadly, the rider of the motorbike, a 77-year-old man later died in hospital.
“Our thoughts are with his family at this incredibly distressing time.
"As part of our investigation I would urge anyone who may have CCTV, dashcam footage, if they have witnessed the collision or have any information to please make contact on 101 quoting log 0523 of July 24 or email SCIU@lancashire.police.uk.”
