Recent data has revealed Accrington's most and least expensive streets over the last five years.

Gathering five year’s worth of sold house price data across the Accrington postcodes, Hollins Lane, Newton Drive and Partridge Drive have some of the highest-valued homes across the region.

Some of the cheapest residential streets in Accrington include Wellington Street, Belfield Road and Mason Street.

Professional fast sales company Property Solvers tracked average sold price data from His Majesty's Land Registry since 2019 to see where the highest and lowest-priced homes are located across the Accrington postcodes.

On Hollins Lane (BB5), eight properties sold for an average of £367,437. Newton Drive (BB5), five properties sold for an average of £348,200.

Also, Partridge Drive (BB5) saw three properties sell for an average of £345,983.

Some of the cheapest streets include Wellington Street (BB5) (where four properties sold for an average of £41,281), Belfield Road (BB5) (where seven properties sold for an average of £41,958) and Mason Street (BB5)  (where three properties sold for an average of £42,666).

Commenting on the data, Property Solvers co-founder Ruban Selvanayagam said: “To keep the data less skewed, we only ranked the streets that had over three sales.

“It’s therefore worth noting that, in recent years, a property on Hollins Lane (BB5) sold for £650,000 and, at the other end of the market, there were properties that sold for £20,000 and under on Bishop Street (BB5), Emma Street (BB5) and Beech Street (BB5)."

Earlier this month, new data was also revealed Blackburn’s 'most expensive' and 'cheapest' streets.

Two of the most expensive streets in Blackburn are only half a mile away from one another, whilst the cheapest street might surprise you.

Amongst the top 10 most expensive streets, five were listed in Wilpshire, and only one in the Beardwood area of the town.
