A broken down vehicle is causing long delays at rush hour on the M6.
The vehicle had broken down in a live lane, southbound causing tailbacks of five miles.
North West Highways said drivers could face delays of an hour around Junction 31, Preston and heading towards Junction 29 at the M65.
The vehicle has been removed from the road.
Due to an earlier broken down vehicle in live lane, there are 60 minute delays and approx. 5 miles of congestion on the #M6 southbound near #Preston between J31 #A677 and J29 #M65.
