Five fire engines responded to a fire in Padiham this afternoon which is believed to have started at a mattress firm.
There was an emergency service presence between the Tesco and Lidl supermarkets off Wyre Street, with a cordon later put up to stop vehicles from going towards the scene.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) were called around midday to the scene near Holmes Street and Fleetwood Road, in a small industrial area at the back of the Tesco supermarket and next to the River Calder.
A source at the scene told the Lancashire Telegraph the blaze started in a mattress firm.
