Police have released pictures of four men following a mass brawl on a train.

The incident happened on Saturday 11 May at around 9.45pm on the Blackpool North to Manchester Airport train.

Police said a mass brawl erupted on the static train that had pulled into Preston Railway Station with passengers punching, swearing and threatening each other. Several people were left bleeding from their injuries.

A number of young children were also on the train and were said to be visibly distressed by what they had witnessed.

Officers would like to speak to the men in the images as they believe they may have information that could help the investigation.

A police spokesperson  said: “Anyone who recognises them or has any information can contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 807 of  11 May.
