An Irish singer is the latest act confirmed for September's iMEP Music Festival in Accrington.

Cian Ducrot, known for his number-one album 'Victory', will be supporting Jess Glynne, the British female solo artist with seven number-one UK singles to her name.

Cian, lauded globally with more than a billion streams and with sold-out headline tours in the UK, US, Australia, and Europe, boasts popular downloads 'All For You' and 'I'll Be Waiting'.

The latter song achieved a position in the Spotify Global Top 200 and fetched more than 600 million views on TikTok.

The festival slated for September 21 is hosted by iMEP International Music Event Production at Accrington Cricket Club's home ground.

Tickets for the festival are going fast, with the early bird and VIP allocations snapped up within hours of release, leaving only general admission (£50) and priority entry (£65) available for purchase.

Eddy O'Brien, chief executive of iMEP, said: "We are really excited to make another big announcement for the iMEP Music Festival.

"Cian is an incredibly successful up-and-coming artist, who has fans all around the world and we are proud to be bringing him here to Lancashire.

"Alongside our headliner, the incredible Jess Glynne, we are putting on a show that will live long in the memory."

Jess Glynne's third studio album 'Jess' was released in late April, managing 10 billion global streams.

This performance is the final act on her summer tour and her only gig in the North West.

Cian has previously performed at the shows of major acts like Ed Sheeran, The Killers, and the Jonas Brothers.

Accrington-based company iMEP specialises in complete music event production.

Recently announced as the new arena and front-of-shirt sponsor at Accrington Cricket Club, iMEP consistently collaborates with stars from across the globe.
