There are warnings of travel delays on the M65 after a crash involving two vehicles.
The M65 is partially blocked and traffic is slow from junction eight to junction seven, because of the accident, which took place at around 6.13am.
Traffic was held on two separate occasions.
Delays of seven minutes have been predicted and the average speed on the stretch of road is 10mph.
A spokesperson for AA Traffic and Travel said: “Partially blocked and slow traffic due to crash on M65 Westbound from junction eight, A56 (Accrington), to junction seven A6185 Hyndburn Road (Rishton / Accrington). Traffic was held on two separate occasions.
“Delays of seven minutes on M65 Westbound between J8 A56 (Accrington) and J7 A6185 Hyndburn Road (Rishton / Accrington). Average speed 10mph.”
