A Blackburn nursery hosted a graduation ceremony for its pupils as the summer term came to an end.

The Palm Tree Nursery School hosted the event at East Lancs Cricket club where staff and parents joined pupils as they embarked on their new journey into primary school.

The ceremony featured performances by the children who were keen to showcase the skills and talents they have developed during their time at the nursery. Each child, dressed in gowns, received their graduation certificates from teachers.
