A 63-year-old has been charged following a burglary at a church in Clayton le Moors.
The incident happened on Devonshire Drive on Saturday 6 June.
Police in Hyndburn said, Paul Dwyer of Devonshire Drive, Clayton le Moors was later arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Dwyer has now been charged with the offence and was remanded into custody to appear before Burnley Crown Court in August.
