A fleet of supercars were on show as MyLahore Blackburn launched its new pre-wedding 'stopover' menu.
Ahead of many Asian weddings, guests are served with refreshments at home as family and friends gather to head out to the venue.
MyLahore is now hoping to have people meet at their restaurant, where they will be served tea, samosas and a range of other delicacies.
The new pre-wedding menu costs £10 per head and caters for up to 80 guests.
At the launch, the restaurant, which is based in Whitebirk, showcased a range of prestige cars including, Rolls-Royces, Ferraris, Range Rovers and Audis in the car park to celebrate the new package.
Many glitzy Asian weddings are synonymous with high-end cars, with couples or guests spending thousands to hire flashy vehicles to celebrate the big day.
Sometimes, the wedding celebration can last days.
Bilal Ahmed, from MyLahore, said: “When you have a wedding, the majority of families like to get together and stop over for tea, samosas and mini desserts.
“People like to get the family together and serve pink tea outside.
“So, we thought it would be great if they met here en route to the wedding hall. It gives people an opportunity to gather all in one spot.
“We call it a refreshment stopover or a tea party.
“They will come inside the restaurant and we also have a dedicated covered area outside.
“The restaurant is open during the day but as it is early afternoon it is outside the busiest periods, and guests would not stay for long.”
The service is already available at MyLahore's restaurant in Bradford and has proved to be popular with guests arriving early afternoon before they head out to the wedding hall.
Bilal added: “It is something we already do in Bradford and it is popular with wedding parties.
"We think there is a market in Blackburn and the surrounding towns.
“We have a car park area and we are also located next to the motorway.
“There are not many places in the area where you can have this type of stopover and get the family together before heading off to the main event.”
The MyLahore Blackburn opened in 2022 and is based in the old Red Lion Hotel, the home of the town’s oldest pub.
It was completely renovated inside but the owners kept many of the traditional fittings and features of the site.
