Blackburn Rovers' staff were celebrating after the club was praised at the ‘Stadium Events and Hospitality Awards.’

Rovers were awarded the Bronze Matchday Hospitality Award – Medium Stadium at the ceremony, held at Elland Road, the home of Leeds United.

Specialist events and hospitality teams from more than 60 football, cricket and rugby venues across the UK were in attendance at the ceremony.

The club was commended for its hospitality offer, and for the 2024-25 season, the club is aiming to open new lounges to further enhance the hospitality experience at Ewood Park.

Yasir Sufi, head of commercial and partnerships at Blackburn Rovers, said: “I am so proud of our hospitality team for winning the Bronze award.

“To come in the top three is some achievement. This has been a huge team effort from everyone involved and our aim is to always deliver the best hospitality experience for our corporate guests.

“We are very fortunate to have some brilliant people from our partners Sodexo who help look after our guests on a home matchday.

“We have made improvements to our hospitality offer for the 2024-25 season and we are excited to welcome everyone back to Ewood Park for the start of the new campaign.”
