A road leading into Burnley bus station is currently closed due to a police incident, stopping buses leaving and entering this afternoon (Monday, July 8).
Burnley Police are currently at the scene of a road closure on Red Lion Street from the junction with Manchester Road.
Police are assisting the ambulance service with a medical emergency and anticipate this will be closed for some time.
All services entering and leaving the bus station have been stopped at present.
A spokesperson for Burnley Police said: "We are currently at the scene of a road closure on Red Lion Street from the junction with Manchester Road in Burnley.
"The road is closed whilst we assist the ambulance service with a medical emergency and we anticipate this will be closed for some time."

A spokesperson for Burnley Bus Company said: "Due to a police incident, a road leading into Burnley Bus Station has been closed.
"All services entering and leaving the bus station have been stopped at present. We shall update you with more information soon"
North West Ambulance Service and Lancashire Police have been contacted for more information.
