Police have issued a warning about anti-social behaviour in Hurst Green and Stonyhurst. 

According to officers, these incidents have recently escalated to criminal damage. The police force says it is working with the community to “prevent the situation from escalating further”.

Police say a “suspect has been spoken to” adding that there will be an increased police presence in the village.

A police spokesperson said: “We have been made aware of some issues regarding anti-social behaviour in the area of Hurst Green/ Stonyhurst. 

“Unfortunately, the incidents have recently escalated to criminal damage and we are working with the community and partner agencies to prevent the situation from escalating further. 

“Please be reassured that we have spoken to all parties involved in the incident, including the suspect, and hope that actions taken will aid in negating any further offences. 

 “Going forward, you will see an increased police presence in the village, do not be alarmed by this and please say hello, we are very friendly!
