Police have arrested a man on drugs offences after a vehicle was stopped on the M6 near Chorley.
Officers pulled over the BMW 3 series as it was heading south on the motorway. The driver of the car attempted to escape but was later detained.
A police spokesperson said: "A search of the vehicle found around 12kg of Cannabis thought to be worth around £50,000 which has now been seized.
"A 31-year-old man from London is currently under arrest on suspicion of possession with intent to supply."
