A man has pleaded guilty to stealing £600 worth of clothes from a TK Maxx store.
The incident happened at the Capitol Centre, Walton-le-Dale, on Tuesday.
Following his arrest, Eduard Csiszer, of no fixed address was charged with theft from a shop.
He was remanded into custody and appeared in court yesterday where he pleaded guilty to theft. He was told to pay a £120 fine and £133 in costs.
A police spokesperson said: "Operation Vulture is Lancashire Constabulary’s response to shoplifting across the county.
"The operation will see dedicated officers undertaking hotspot patrolling, increasing their visibility in targeted areas and creating strong partnerships with retailers across the county to better share intelligence, get a deeper understanding of retail crime and identify more offenders."
