A bus service in East Lancashire is set to be disrupted for months due to a road closure.
This is due to the closure of Haslingden Road, from the Tesco roundabout in Haslingden and Rawtenstall.
Bus company Rosso says it will is diverting buses on the 464 and Irwell Line 481 from now until early September.
Buses will divert along the A56 to Edenfield. Buses will then head back to Rawtenstall before continuing their journey towards Bacup and Rochdale or Bury.
Timetables are also set to be amended. This change only affects buses from Accrington and Blackburn.
A spokesperson for Rosso said: “Due to the closure of Haslingden Road between the Tesco Roundabout and Rawtenstall, we will be diverting on the 464 and Irwell Line 481 from 21 July until early September.
“Buses will divert along the A56 to Edenfield, then head back to Rawtenstall before continuing their journey towards Bacup and Rochdale or Bury.
“This change means that we'll be amending our times by a few minutes to ensure we can run reliably. New timetables will be posted soon.
"This change only affects buses from Accrington and Blackburn - buses from Bury and Bacup will run the usual route.
“We're really sorry to any customers this causes a problem for and we look forward to returning to our usual route in September.”
