The fire service was called to a house blaze in Burnley on Monday (June 24).

Three fire engines, from Burnley, Padiham and Nelson, were called to Pink Street, at around 10pm on June 24.

Fire crews were in attendance for around 40 minutes.

A spokesperson for the fire service said: “Three fire engines from Burnley, Padiham and Nelson attended a domestic building fire on Pink Street, Burnley.

“Crews used one hose reel, two breathing apparatus and one positive pressure ventilation fan. Crews were engaged for approximately forty minutes.”
