Two shops in Charter Walk shopping centre in Burnley have been recently been re-furbished and are now back open.

Shoezone, in James Street near Boots, and New Look, both fashion retailers, re-opened their doors earlier this week in Burnley's Charter Walk.

Charter Walk is described as the 'premier' shopping destination in East Lancashire, offering a fantastic selection of over 85 stores.

A spokesperson for Charter Walk said: "New Look has undergone a stunning makeover and we can't wait for you to see the new layout and stunning pieces perfect for the coming warm weather.

"The newly refurbished Shoezone store has [also] re-opened its doors after a stunning new makeover

"The store has doubled in size and is bringing you more brands than ever before."

There is 'something for people of all ages' at Charter Walk, with plenty of food outlets, facilities and parking available, the shopping centre is ideal for families.

Two of the shopping centre's car parks have also achieved the 'Park Mark' award for their standards of safety and security.

Charter Walk Shopping Centre has a 'wide variety of up-to-the-minute fashion, brilliant gifts and must-have accessories'.

Commenting on the Facebook post regarding Shoezone, Michelle Eccles wrote: "Wow what a transformation! Will be in soon for a nosy."

Jackie McKillop wrote: "Been in today, lovely helpful staff."

Dianne Clarke wrote: "I have been in today, it looks 100 per cent better."

New Look is open 9am until 5:30pm, Sunday to Friday, and 10:30am until 4:30pm on Saturday.

Shoezone is open 9am until 5:30pm, Sunday to Friday, and 10am until 4pm on Saturday.
