A musician from Langho is in the running to perform on a major stage, ahead of Anne Marie and Shania Twain, but your help is needed.
Former X Factor star Grace Davies has been shortlisted for the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform at the Birdcage Stage at this year’s BST Hyde Park in London.
If Grace, a former St Leonard's CE Primary School pupil, is successful she will share the same stage as musical legends Shania Twain and Anne Marie.
Anne-Marie, known for hits 2002 and Psycho, joined forces with Volvic to search for the UK’s best new talent line up but the final decision on who wins the ultimate artist package is up to the public.
Grace said: “I am in the final five to support Shania Twain and Anne Marie at BST Hyde Park - you can vote for me.
"Please pass this on to all of your friends and family. If you think your vote doesn’t matter because everyone else is doing it then you are wrong.
"This would be a dream.”
Grace, 27, said she is “completely owning her sound and is never happier than being at the forefront of her projects, both sonically as well as creatively”.
She has been playlisted on both national and regional radio, reached a Big Top 40 and an Official Charts Top 100 position and her catalogue regularly appears for sync in national TV programmes.
Earlier this year she released Illuminate which was the official track for the European Athletics Championship.
Gemma Morgan, category director - beverages at Danone, said: “We’re ready to take this summer beyond your expectations, and Anne-Marie is by our side to make that happen!
"The global superstar is known for supporting artists in the industry, and she's on hand to help us find the best new talent out there at one of the UK’s most exciting festivals – BST Hyde Park."
With the announcement of the competition, Anne-Marie said, “Making it as an artist is hard, so I understand the impact this support can have on you when you’re starting out.
"I love hearing new voices and talent so I couldn’t be more excited to begin the search with Volvic supporting the next generation of a music community that has made me so happy and given me so much.”
Voting closes at 11.59 tonight (June 20) and votes can be made on the Volvic website: www.promo.volvic.co.uk/bst-emerging-artist/
