A town council says it has ‘pulled out all the stops’ as its annual family fun day returns for a third year.

Colne Town Council will be putting on a host of free activities and appearances at Alkincoates Park on Saturday, July 14, in what they say is their ‘biggest and best’ family fun day to date.

There will be visits from children’s characters such as Bluey and Bingo and Transformers and live performances from Sean Toms, Pendle Academy of Dance and a Moana sing-a-long.

As well, there will be free activities such as a bird of prey show, comedy magic shows, face painting, knight duel workshops, Punch & Judy, fun fair rides, and giant inflatables.

The town council’s events officer, Nathan Cutler, said: “Our family fun day is an incredible event for Colne.

“The event features a fantastic variety of entertainment with something for everyone.

“Get the date in your calendar and come and join the fun!”

There will be no parking available at Alkincoates Park but visitors to the fun day will be able to park at Holt House and walk the short distance through the top of the park.
