The fire service had to remove a person from their vehicle after a crash in Padiham today (June 17).
Two fire engines, from Padiham and Hyndburn, were called to Barrowford Road at around 10.55am.
The crash involved two vehicles, a tractor and a car, and firefighters released one person from their car and placed them in the care of paramedics.
Fire crews were in attendance for an hour.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 10.55 on June 17, two fire engines from Padiham and Hyndburn attended a road traffic collision on Barrowford Road, Padiham.
“The incident involved two vehicles. Firefighters released one casualty from their vehicle before placing them in the care of North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) paramedics. Crews were in attendance for an hour.”
A police spokesperson said: "Call was 10.57am [with reports of a crash] at the junction of Barrowford Road and Whalley Road.
"[It was a crash] between a tractor and car. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries."
