An East Lancashire pneumatics manufacturer has secured funding to acquire new machining equipment that will support an increase in exports.
ROSS Pneumatrol, an electro-pneumatic solutions company in Oswaldtwistle, has utilised a six-figure funding package from HSBC UK to purchase a taper machine.
The Brother F600 machine will enable the company to increase production of explosion-proof certified valves, solenoids, and wider products for international rail and industrial markets.

Increased productivity and exports to European and Chinese markets is expected to support ROSS Pneumatrol in achieving a forecasted £3 million increase in turnover over the next three years.

ROSS Pneumatrol, an ISO 9001 certified company, was established in 2013 following ROSS Controls’ acquisition of Pneumatrol.
ROSS Control was established in the USA in 1921 and continues to be an industry leader in pneumatic valve technology.
Following the acquisition of Pneumatrol, the ROSS UK office relocated to the 24,000 sq ft site in Blackburn Road, Oswaldtwistle, after both companies merged. ROSS Pneumatrol currently employs 76 people on the site.
