Children from across Lancashire have enjoyed a free cricket training session courtesy of a local estate agent.
Facilitated by Pendle Hill Properties at Padiham Cricket Club, last Friday's (June 7) event involved Year 3 children catching, throwing, bowling, and finished in a full game.
The event continues Pendle Hill Properties' efforts to promote cricket in the community.
In December it gave away more than a hundred cricket bats and balls along with invites to last week's free session.
Toby Burrows, Pendle Hill Properties rental director and Padiham CC captain, said: "Thank you to everyone who took part today, everyone has done so well, and we may well have seen some future Padiham players.
"Even though some hadn't played cricket before, they thoroughly enjoyed the activities.
"I'm sure we will see them back at Padiham CC again."
Following the event children will now get the opportunity to move on to the All Stars.
All Stars Cricket is an eight-week long programme designed to foster a lifelong love of cricket while promoting general physical activity among five to eight-year-olds.
Pendle Hill Properties encourages cricket in the community and has several staff members actively involved in local cricket clubs.
