Former world’s strongest man, Eddie Hall, will face two people at once in a bizarre cage fight in Blackburn tonight (June 7).

The six-foot-three-inch, 23-and-a-half stone strongman will take on social media duo, the Neffati Brothers, at King George's Hall in an MMA fight organised by the World Freak Fight League.

Tonight marks the 36-year-old's return to combat sports, after losing a boxing match two years ago to strongman rival Hafthor ‘The Mountain’ Bjornsson’, in a fight dubbed ‘the heaviest ever' in the sport.

The Neffati Brothers, comprising Jamil and Jamel, have 19 million followers on TikTok.

Identical twins, the duo each stand at around 5 feet three inches, tipping the scales at a reported weight of around 10 stone each.

Jamel and Jamil, originally from Poland but now living in the UK, featured on E4’s Celebrity Coach Trip in 2022.

Hall says his 11-year-old son is bigger than each of them and he’s going to knock them both out.

The brothers have responded by calling Hall “slow” and saying after “45 seconds he is going to want help sent.”

Blackburn with Darwen Councillor, Zamir Khan, said: “I think it’s great I’d love to see more of these events come to Blackburn.

“I remember when I was a kid, I went to watch Giant Haystacks fight Big Daddy, so it’s nice to have something to bring back these events with national coverage.

“Of course, I’d love to see more of these fights because why not?”

Ring walks for the main fight are expected to begin at 11pm, following an undercard of similarly wacky fights starting at 8.30pm.

Among the other bouts this evening, Ed Sheeran lookalike Ty Jones Aka ‘Sheeranator’, will face off against Stormzy lookalike, Papa Snow.

Ben Hatchett and Megan Olivia will face Whitney and Joel Ainscough in a ‘couples fight’, while dwarves Salim Chiboub and Radoslaw Wolan are also set to compete in the ring later on.

In the ‘No Time Limit’ category, Kamil Jagielski will come up against Myles Raksu, the ‘OG Freak Fight’ will see Jakub Szymanski battle Tadeas Vesely, and ‘Mixed Rules’ will feature Pro Boxer Jack Fay vs MMA Pro Chris Fishgold.

Hall is widely known for his 500kg deadlift in 2016, regarded as one of the greatest feats in weightlifting.

Tickets are still available on King George's Hall's website

The main fight will be streamed on Vimeo, with a pay-per-view price of £14.99.
