Work is to start on converting a former pub into a mix of housing and holiday lets in the coming weeks.
The Dog & Partridge in Chipping has sat empty since 2018 but will get a new lease of life as a house, six apartments, and four holiday lets following planning approval in October 2023.
The plans include 18 car parking spaces on site, landscaping with proposed grass areas and shrubs, and the main building will retain the stone to the front to ensure it’s in-keeping with the local area.

The development has been brought forward by a joint venture partnership, Home Life Renovations, based in Preston.
Director Jake Suthers is leading the project with his business, The QS Company, carrying out the commercial management services for the development.
He said: “I am thrilled that following over two years of hard work, works on site will finally be commencing to regenerate this fantastic venue.
"The scheme has been designed carefully to respect the character of the local area and we look forward to bringing the former pub back into productive use.”
The works are anticipated to be completed within the next 12 months.

The former pub will now house one three-bedroom home and the apartments, each with a living, dining, and kitchen area, double bedrooms, and a bathroom.
The holiday units, consisting of a living/dining/kitchen area with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, will be at the back of the pub and built as individual one-storey flats.
The plans were approved by the council’s planning board under a number of conditions, including the submission of further documents with regard to site drainage, and that the holiday cottages must not be used as permanent residential accommodation.
