Blackburn Rovers' Head of UK Scouting, Tom Sutton, is set to leave the football club.
Sutton has been at Ewood Park for two years, joining as a first-team scout and then leading operations for Rovers' identification of talent in Britain.
The Lancashire Telegraph understands that reports Sutton has accepted a role at Huddersfield Town, in what will be the latest departure within Rovers' recruitment team, are accurate.
Director of Football Gregg Broughton left the club by 'mutual agreement' earlier this month. That was a decision initiated by Rovers as they looked to refresh their transfer team.

Head of European Scouting Luke Griffin announced he was leaving his post in April, with the club previously advertising to refill that role under Broughton's watch.
Whilst Broughton paid the price for Rovers' failure to sign Duncan McGuire, and track record in recent windows, it's understood that Sutton and Griffin's exits aren't linked and merely their desire to explore other career opportunities.
Sutton was credited by Broughton for playing a crucial role in identifying Sam Szmodics as 'the perfect fit' for Rovers in the summer of 2022. The forward went on to score 33 goals in all competitions last summer.
Rovers have Sean Kimberley at the club as Head of Recruitment, with Head coach John Eustace and Chief Executive Steve Waggott also involved in transfers and negotiations.
It's understood that Rovers are looking to bring in new faces after the exit of Broughton. No appointments are imminent but discussions are ongoing.
Broughton oversaw six key departments in his role as Director of Football: First Team, Academy, Recruitment, Medical, Athletic Performance and Analysis Departments.
Instead of a direct replacement, Rovers may choose to split up some of those responsibilities across two new members of staff.
Rudy Gestede has been working closely with the club and told The Lancashire Telegraph last year that he is studying a CEO Sports Organisation course in Manchester. He is not thought to be in the running for a senior position at Rovers, though.
