A footballer, who is best friends with ex-Blackburn Rovers player Bradley Dack, is set to enter the Love Island villa.

Semi-professional footballer Ronnie Vint, 27, from London, will be trying to find love on the ITV2 dating show.

According to Bradley Dack’s wife and former Love Island star, Olivia Attwood, Ronnie is “like a brother” to her.

Bradley, who left Rovers last year, chose Ronnie as his best man when he tied the knot last June.

Ronnie, who plays for non-league team Lewes FC, said: “Bradley Dack is my best friend and he and Olivia are a big part of my life.

“I call Olivia my big little sister, she always looks out for me.

“I’m a fun, bubbly person looking for a good time so I’m confident that I’ll get on really well with everyone and can hopefully find a nice girl while I’m at it.”

Posting to Instagram, Olivia said: “Our Ronnie Vint is going into the villa! Ron was the best man at our wedding and he’s literally like a brother to me. You guys are going to love him I know it.”
