Ten hours of thunderstorms have been forecast for East Lancashire, according to Met Office forecasters.
There is a yellow warning as heavy showers and thunderstorms are set to cause disruption on Sunday, May 12.
The warning is in force from 12pm until 10pm. It covers most parts of the UK, including the whole of Lancashire.
The Met Office has warned of isolated flooding, difficult driving conditions and possible damage to some buildings from flooding and lightning strikes.
A Met Office spokesperson said: “Heavy and thundery showers are likely on Sunday before rain and blustery winds return on Monday and Tuesday. It will start feeling cooler.”
It’s set to be even hotter than Ibiza, where temperatures are set to peak at 22°C.

- Friday, May 10: Cloudy changing to sunny intervals in the afternoon. Highs of 21°C and lows of 15°C.
- Saturday, May 11: Sunny intervals changing to cloudy by lunchtime. Highs of 23°C and lows of 13°C.
- Sunday, May 12: Yellow weather warning for thunderstorms. Highs of 22°C and lows of 12°C.
