Poshest villages to live in Lancashire according to locals
While many villages were mentioned in the comments section of our Facebook post, the poshest in Lancashire is Lytham St Annes according to our readers.

One local commented: “Lytham st Annes it's got lots of nice posh houses with posh expensive cars parked up outside the posh lil restaurants wine bars posh boutiques”.
Whether you’re looking to enjoy a meal out or want to take a dip in the sea, Lytham St Annes has plenty to see and do.
Among the other places mentioned was the Ribble Valley, including the Wiswell area. Clitheroe and Great Eccleston were also praised.

A local said: “Whalley or somewhere else in the Ribble valley area.”
One explained why Clitheroe got their vote, saying: “Clitheroe and Whalley are lovely places in East Lancashire.”
Another who voted for Great Eccleston commented: “Great Eccleston !

In reply to this message mentioning Great Eccleston, another local said: “love it there for a small village it has everything great chippy great doctors great pubs I could go on and on !”
