A Padiham secondary school teacher has appeared before Blackburn magistrates on charges involving sexual activity with a 15-year-old pupil.
Amir Makda, 30, of Briar Road, Blackburn, faced three charges of sexual touching of the girl which was a breach of trust and engaging in sexual communication with a child by sending her messages of a sexual nature.
All the charges relate to the period between February 1 2022 and April 1 2022.
Makda, who taught at Shuttleworth College, gave no indication of plea and he was sent on bail to Burnley Crown Court.
