Police have said they are dealing with a 'live incident' in an East Lancashire town after a 'grenade' was reportedly found.
Lancashire Police are currently on scene at the Market Hall in Croft Street, Darwen.
A cordon is in place around the area, and they are asking people to 'avoid the area'.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "We are currently at the scene of an ongoing incident at Market Hall, Croft Street, Darwen.
"Officers are currently at the scene and a cordon is in place.

"We are asking people to avoid the area for now and we will update you in due course."
