A 49-year-old man has been sentenced for damaging vehicles at a police station.
Bernard Rawstron used a knife to cause damage to the tyres of four police vehicles at Clitheroe Police Station in the early hours of Tuesday this week.
Rawstron pleaded guilty to damaging the vehicles and possession of a bladed article and was jailed for six months at Blackburn Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, a police spokesperson said: "Today (Wednesday) at Blackburn Magistrates' Court, a 49-year-old male from Blackburn has been sentenced to six months in custody.
"Bernard Rawstron had used a knife to cause damage to the tyres of four police vehicles at Clitheroe Police Station in the early hours of Tuesday, April 23.
"Rawstron pleaded guilty to damaging the vehicles and possession of a bladed article."
