The new owner of the Rising Sun in Blacko said they are hoping to make it a ‘friendly warm and welcoming place’ for villagers.
The Moorhouse's-owned pub based in Gisburn Road closed last month.
Jay Townson has now taken over the reins alongside his mum, Ellie Townson, and stepdad, Roger Edmonson.
The pub officially opened on Monday (April 8) but the official launch will take place on Friday (April 12).
The pub is based at the heart of the community and the new owners are hoping local people will turn out to support the launch party.
Jay, from Barrowford, said: “I used to come in this pub and I loved it. I just wanted to bring it back to [a standard] I think it should be at.
“We hope we can bring it back to everyone again it used to be an absolutely amazing pub.”
Jay plans to introduce top-quality food in the coming weeks and says customers can grab a quality pint of ale.
He said: “Most of the work we have done is behind the scenes to ensure we have good quality ale at the pub.
"We have also put the work in, to ensure we will serve good quality food, which will be launched in the coming weeks.
“We have also done a bit of work on the toilets.
“We want to keep it as a community pub with good food, made with top ingredients. Ales will be on all the time and will be of great quality.
“We are very excited and have put a lot of work into this.”
From 7pm, customers can come for an “opening party” at the pub which will feature free food and live music from Russell Shaun
"It’s just a bit of a party to welcome everyone back," Jay said.
