A house builder with a development in Blackburn is urging people already living in the area to nominate groups to receive a £500 funding boost.
Taylor Wimpey, which is currently building the Riven Stones development, is asking people in Feniscowles to enter its community chest competition.
People can nominate local groups, organisations or individuals they think deserve a helping hand.
The money could be used for much-needed new equipment, a fundraising challenge, or much more.
Previous recipients of support by Taylor Wimpey include Feniscowles & Pleasington FC and Rawtenstall in Bloom.
The deadline for entries is Monday, May 6, after which Taylor Wimpey will select a worthy winner to receive the £500 donation.
Sam Evans, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Manchester, said: “Community groups and local charities rely heavily on the support they receive, so we are delighted to be able to do our bit for residents around Feniscowles through our community chest campaign.
“If you know of a worthy cause in your area, we would love to hear about them.”
The Riven Stones development, off Broken Stone Road, will see more than 200 houses built ranging from three to five bedrooms, each with solar panels and EV charging points as standard
To nominate a worthy cause, email the name of the nominee plus a brief description of why they deserve the cash to riven_stones@taylorwimpey-pr.co.uk.
