A lorry driver stopped on the M6 near Lancaster has been charged on suspicion of being almost three times the drink-drive limit.
Police stopped the 44-tonne HGV on the M6 southbound near Lancaster on Sunday night (April 7).
The driver failed to stop for officers, but was eventually brought to a stop by the road policing unit.
He was breathalysed and blew 92 micrograms of alcohol per 100ml of breath - the limit being 35.
James Tulloch, 52, of Cuby Road, Truro, Cornwall, has been charged with driving a motor vehicle above the legal limit and failing to stop for police.
He will appear in court today, Tuesday.
