The annual Eid in the park prayers in Blackburn have been cancelled due to the bad weather.
The Eid prayers event takes place at Corporation Park during Eid morning and attracts thousands of people. It is open to families and is attended by both men and women.
The gathering has grown over the past few years as more and more people turn out to take part in the obligatory prayers.
Some mosques have announced that Eid will take place on Wednesday (April 10), whilst others will wait for an announcement tomorrow. Eid-al-Fitr marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
Heavy rain is expected in many parts of the county this week.

Darussalam Education Centre, based on Whalley New Road, has been hosting the Eid prayers in the park event every year.
A spokesperson said: “We have had a look at the weather and it is just not going to be feasible to do the event this Eid. We will of course look at the next Eid which is in June.
“We would like invite everyone to the Darussalam Education Centre, where we will be having three Eid prayers at 7am, 8.30am and 10am.”
The 10am sermon will be led by renowned speaker, Dr Sajid Umar, the mosque.
