Two fire engines were called to an outbuilding fire in Stacksteads on bank holiday Monday.
At 5.22am, fire crews were called to Fernhill Drive and used a variety of equipment, including breathing apparatus, to put the fire out.
Crews were in attendance for approximately two hours and thirty minutes
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “Two fire engines from Bacup attended a bricked outbuilding fire on Fernhill Drive, Stacksteads.
“Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, triple extension ladders and ceiling hooks to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately two hours and thirty minutes.”
