Motorists are set to receive speeding fines, and possible points on their licence, after being caught speeding in Barrowford.
Members of the public have issued complaints about speeding vehicles on Wheatley Lane Road.
Officers set up a speed trap on Tuesday and confirmed that speeding vehicles were spotted.
A police spokesperson said: “Police issued fixed penalties notices which will either lead to points on their licence or a speed awareness course.
“The Nelson community policing team have been asked by members of the public to have a look at suspected speeding vehicles on Wheatley Lane Road at Barrowford.
“We did this on Tuesday the 19th of March.
“Unfortunately we did catch speeding vehicles in this area. We issued fixed penalty notices which will either lead to points on their licence or a speed awareness course.
“The picture shows our colleague using the latest technology speed device to track speeding vehicles.”
