The new manager of a luxury Ribble Valley hotel says she is “delighted” to be promoted into the role.
Rachel Crook joined the team at Northcote three years ago as the assistant hotel manager, being responsible for daily operations, leading and developing the head of department teams, and monitoring guest satisfaction.
Rachel said she learnt a lot during her time in the role and she is now ready to take on a new challenge of leading them from the top.
She said: “I am absolutely delighted to be taking on the new role as hotel manager at Northcote.
"I joined the team here three years ago as assistant hotel manager and over that time I have learnt so much.
“Northcote is a very special place to me, renowned not just for the food but the people and hospitality, which is something I will continue to develop and take forward with me as I progress in this new role.

“To be working in an idyllic setting with a fantastic team around me is a dream come true and I am excited to see what the next chapter has in store.”
Rachel has previously worked in the UK and abroad throughout her hospitality career, including at Fairmont in Southampton, Bermuda; Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, Orlando; and, prior to Northcote, at L’Horizon Beach and Hotel Spa in Jersey.
The company said Rachel’s experience and passion for people made her the “obvious choice” for the role.
In a social media post, Northcote said: “Rachel is always a warm, friendly face, ready to go above and beyond in what she does, to make sure our guests have an unforgettable experience.
“We’re very proud of all that Rachel has achieved so far and we can’t wait to follow her journey in what is already an outstanding hospitality career.”
