A Blackburn beauty salon has been shortlisted for an award at the English Hair and Beauty Awards.
Chantelle Louise Beauty Academy is one of the finalists in the Semi Permanent Eyelash Extensions category, after also being nominated in the 'Education Excellence' and 'Beauty Therapist of the Year' categories at the The UK Hair and Beauty Awards.
After the overwhelming response from the public, who nominated their favourite stylists and salons with more than 60,000 votes received, this year’s awards have been split into four chapters.
Chapter one of the awards will spotlight the top salons and beauty professionals from across the North West of England.
Chantelle Louise Beauty Academy has also been nominated as a finalist in the 'Best of the North West' awards for Blackburn with Darwen.
The salon will find out if they will be crowned winner and take the trophy home at the ceremony that will take place at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel on Sunday, April 7.
Chantelle Louise Baldwin, chief executive of Chantelle Louise Beauty Academy, said: "I am so proud of this achievement and grateful for my amazing clients and students that have nominated me for this award.”
These awards honour those who consistently work hard to raise the standards within the industry while making sure every customer walks away having had a memorable experience.
Creative Oceanic launched the official Hair and Beauty Awards in England 12 years ago which has expanded to include successful ceremonies in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Toronto and New York.
A spokesperson for the English Hair and Beauty Awards 2024 said: “We had an outstanding response from the public who went behind our nomination process and put forward tried and tested beauty professionals that deserve recognition.
"The awards remark the strength, skill and innovation of those who have shown excellent commitment to customer satisfaction and have changed the industry’s landscape by introducing innovative treatments and services, building extremely close and trusted relationships with their clients.
"We congratulate all the finalists for their remarkable achievements and wish them the best of luck.”
