A former Chinese takeaway could be turned into a beauty salon if recently submitted plans are approved by the council.
Wajed Iqbal of Huth Properties Ltd, in Manchester Road, Nelson, wants to change 78 Leeds Road into a beauty salon.
The property used to house The New Rice Bowl, a Chinese takeaway that had been operating in the area for decades, according to Google Reviews.
It is believed the establishment closed last year.
If approved, the beauty salon would include a room to accommodate a hairdressing salon, two facial booths and a manicure room.
It would be open 9am until 6pm Monday to Saturday and 10am until 4pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Plans were submitted to Pendle Council at the beginning of February, but no design and access statement was provided.
A decision will be made on whether to approve or reject the plans in due course.
