A vehicle with dangerous tyres was seized by officers in Preston.
The white van was being driven in the Penwortham area with no insurance and had not had a valid MOT for two years.
Police said further checks of the vehicle uncovered two ‘horrendously’ defective front tyres.
The driver has been summonsed for all the offences and the vehicle was seized.
